FAQ/About Us

The Doughboys Kidz Club for Adultz is the official (and legally questionable) home for comics and merchandise based on our fifth-favorite podcast. It’s full of stuff that big business wouldn’t touch—probably due to legal liability and reputational risk.

So What’s In It?
For our first drop, we’ve got:

  • Standard – Issue #1 and either a Mitch or Wiger figurine. (You don’t get to choose. That’s life.)

  • Signed Alpha Variant – Issue #1 with an alternate cover, signed by Mitch, Wiger, writer Alex Firer, and artist Fred C. Stresing. Includes both Mitch and Wiger figurines. Only 300 available.

  • Kidz Club Membership – All six issues (no variant covers or signatures), a “membership card,” and “an extra special doodad.” You also get one issue free.

Ok, so the six-issue pack is signed and comes with both figures?
Nope. Only the Signed Alpha Variant includes both figurines and signatures.

Wow, so is the extra doodad just the other figure?
No. It’s something else. Something special. We’re not telling you what it is yet.

Got it. So it’s not the other figure. Can I eat it?
Jes—no. Please don’t eat anything we sell. It’s not edible.

But the comic is edible, right?
…Sure. Eat it. What do I care.

Fred C. Stresing - Artist

Fred C. Stresing is a comic book writer, artist, and colorist who has been working professionally for fifteen years in the industry. His comics include such titles as Invader ZIM, Rick and Morty: Meeseeks P.I., Adventure Time, and many, many more. He loves sci-fi, comedy, old movies, and relaxing at home with his hot wife Meg Casey and their two cats in upstate New York. He one day hopes to have a home with a library in it, with-- y’know those ladders with wheels? One of those. Yeah.

Meg Casey- Colorist

Meg Casey is a professional artist and colorist and writer based in upstate New York, where she works making comics for the barely literate. In her free time, she is pursuing a degree in English literature, focusing in particular on Irish modernism, American postmodernism, and other things that sound very impressive.

Alex Firer - Writer

is a Soviet born, Boston raised comedy writer whose credits include 24 issues of Rick and Morty, a comic strip for Diablo, The Official Handbook of the Bowieverse for The Devastator, and The Onion News Network where he cowrote one of those weird YouTube April Fool’s prank videos that just fucking lies to your face, but Charlie Bit Me was in it as a weirdly older kid. Alex lives in Los Angeles with his very beautiful and very also comedy writer wife. His favorite fast food chain is Bolocco’s, a burrito place only in Boston apparently, and he welled up with emotion when Dunkin Donuts came to LA only to realize eating a box of donuts and not dying on the toilet is a young man’s game. His social security number is 9 numbers long, and his phone number is stupid.
